MINOXYQURE 10% (Minoxidil Topical Solution USP 10%) 60ml

This formulation is very effective in preventing hair loss using anabolic steroids.

What is minoxidil?
Minoxidil was originally developed in the United States as an antihypertensive drug with a vasodilatory effect. As a side effect, the phenomenon of “hair growth” occurred, so it was improved as an AGA treatment. Today, it is one of the representative AGA treatments along with finasteride and dutasteride.

Oral and topical medications
There are two types of minoxidil: internal medicine and topical medicine that is applied directly to the scalp.

Effect of minoxidil
Minoxidil not only widens the capillaries and smoothes the flow of blood, but also works mainly on the dermal papilla cells that promote hair growth, and has the function of prolonging the hair cycle (hair cycle). In addition, it promotes the production of substances that stimulate the hair matrix cells made from the dermal papilla cells, and has the function of proliferating the dermal papilla cells themselves. Due to these effects, minoxidil promotes hair growth.

Among over-the-counter drugs, “Reup” is approved in Japan as a hair growth agent containing minoxidil (first-class drug). No regulatory approval has been obtained for oral minoxidil in Japan.

Side effects of minoxidil
Side effects of minoxidil are said to include headache, dizziness and palpitation. Topical minoxidil has no serious side effects even after long-term administration, but itching and rashes on the scalp may occur in people with sensitive skin.

Care should be taken when taking minoxidil orally because it is originally an antihypertensive drug. Side effects may be seen in people with unstable blood pressure or heart disease, and in rare cases serious side effects may be observed, so be sure to take it correctly under the instructions of your doctor. Let’s do it.

Difference between minoxidil and finasteride
Minoxidil is a treatment that promotes hair growth, but it does not slow the progression of AGA. Finasteride, on the other hand, has the role of returning the hair cycle disturbed by DHT to a normal cycle. Instead, finasteride alone is said to have little ability to promote hair growth.

Studies have shown that when treating AGA, the hair growth effect is enhanced when used in combination with other therapeutic agents such as finasteride and dutasteride, compared to the administration of minoxidil alone.
